The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide. Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. And 75% of all UK suicides are male. CALM exists to change this. Your challenge is to run, walk, cycle or swim 13 miles for the 13 men who take their own lives in the UK every single day. You can complete your challenge in a single go, or split it up into sections – the important thing is that you’ll be completing 13 miles! £5 from the sale of each medal will be donated to CALM to support their vital work in preventing suicide through awareness-raising, and their phone and webchat helplines. Friday 10th September 2021 is World Suicide Prevention Day. We would love for you to join us to complete your 13 miles for 13 men challenge on this day to help raise awareness of suicide and mental health. Remember that every entry includes a donation to CALM, the UK’s leading charity in preventing suicide.
